ROUND ONE COMMENTS
Zap manages 3rd qualifying position after round one of qualifying. "The car left well, and I held it a little long in first to 10,000rpm and it nosed over a little, shifted into second and the car picked up again, but was a little skatey through the top end. We need an engine change though as it loks like a few rods have let go. We will slip in another Striker engine and have another go."

ROUND TWO COMMENTS
Nice straight run for Zap after an engine change by the Zappia Racing crew. "We ran it rich and I shifted early to keep it safe on this run." said Zap. "Weather is good for racing here at WSID, with the air temp at 21 degrees C. Looking forward to the last qualifier." Deno Brijeski top qualified with an amazing 5.956et at 239.44mph - but ended up through the sand trap and sideways into the net.
