Over 60 vehicles entered the Dyno Shootout at the Genie Exhaust Centre premises today. The new Dynojet 248c dyno is capable of measuring 1200 horsepower at the rear wheels, and entrant's horsepower figures ranged from 15 horsepower for the Junior Dragster, to 790.8 horsepower for Zap's Rat. In between were a great mix of vehicle and engine types, and the HQ Zap's Rat topped the days entertainment with two ear shattering runs, that cleared the room due to eye watering methanol fumes exiting the side pipes.
