Zap's letter of thanks
Phoning from Fred and Philomena Cavisini's shed in Sydney this morning preparing the HQ for the Calder match race, John Zappia wished to express his sincere thanks to the following people that helped in Sydney at the weekend.
The travelling Zap's Rat Crew - James "Jimbob" Ristic, Craig "Lumpy" Lorimer, Gerry "Gez" Andrijich, Darren Bodle, Marie Zappia, Jessica Zappia and Diz Andrijich. Local Sydney crew - "Fast Freddie" Cavisini. A hard working and emotional effort over the weekend, especially Saturday night when the engine was stripped down for repairs.

We worked so hard for this, and it is finally sinking in as a wonderful achievement. We are humbled that so many people have been inspired, and elated by the pass - we never knew the response would be so huge. We will open the online store as soon as is practically possible to present merchandise for fans, but in the meantime call in to see us at the pits where ever we are racing.
