The world's quickest Doorslammer - the RENTCO Monaro Top Doorslammer of John Zappia, has turned up in Queensland after a quick sprint across the continent in the Zappia Racing bus to compete in Round 2 of the Top Doorslammer ANDRA Championship in Willowbank. Zap's Rat will continue to stir up the Top Doorslammer teams after significantly jumping ahead of the field and setting a new standard in the class with a world record setting 5.967et and dominating performance in Round 1 at WSID.

"Our two year development program is under our belt now, and fine tuning the package has been made easier with consistent performances and personal bests at the last two Eastern States events and feel we can run very competetively. "Our package has been tested at two tracks now, but another 5 will really depend on track conditions over the weekend here in Willowbank, but from our last visit in the Winters running a then, PB of 6.08 we are certainly aiming for a string of 6.0's at least."
