Known locally here in Western Australia as a drag racing legend and technical wizard, John Zappia has always sourced his own parts internationally over the last two decades for Zap's Rat, and many other racers. Zap now formally invites enthusiasts to take advantage of his superior contacts, knowledge and cunning to get the parts needed.
"I regularly get shipments from the US, and have been approached by more and more racers to source parts - so I though why not extend our business in that area" says John. "I will be taking on more Australian agencies for specialist products - especially the products that have resulted in extensive research and phone calls to the US that we have fitted to blown alcohol cars here".
"I also have had a strong interest in the Japanes import scene for years, and help several Sport Compact racers with sourcing and advice. With my contacts I can usually find the right deal, and also the pitfalls and things to watch out for."
